Elizabeth is a founder member of Twisted Theatre and represents the company’s intentions to imbue its stories with the traditional music to which they connect, the modern music by which they might be better understood and the new music which they inspire. Elizabeth’s work includes scores and musical direction for Swarm,  (Twisted Theatre), Good Clown Bad Clown, Hey Diddle Diddle and Savage Children (Bristol Old Vic), Circus Britannica, The Little Prince and A Midsummer Nights Dream (The Bike Shed Theatre) and a series of original songs for In Cider Story with The Theatre Orchard and Adam Peck.

Alongside her work as a musical director and composer Elizabeth performs as a musician for theatre and is currently touring the united states with Kneehigh Theatre’s Tristan and Yseult, with which she also toured the UK earlier this year (Leeds Playhouse, Hall for Cornwall, Bristol Old Vic). Elizabeth has also performed with internationally acclaimed company Improbable Theatre for their improvised show Animo and is currently co-artistic director, co-composer and performer for Death and Treason, Rhyme and Reason, Twisted Theatre’s current show.

As a musician, Elizabeth performed for several years with Nuala and the Alchemy Quartet and has also performed as a member of Pepino, Beltaine and with well known British folk artists, The Oysterband and Show of Hands.
